Dieses handliche Buch erklärt humorvoll die unterschiedlichen Buchstaben der polnischen Sprache sowie deren Aussprache und den Unterschied zwischen ähnlich klingenden Lauten. Zudem wird beschrieben, wie Beethoven zu Beethovena und Goethe zu Goethego wurde. Ebenso erklären die Autoren die doppelte Verneinung, die Gastfreundschaft in Polen und geben neben wichtigen Adressen einige Tipps für Reisende in das Land der Störche.

Über den Autor
Die Philologin Monika Barwinska beschäftigt sich mit der Kultursprachwissenschaft, der Geschichte und Bedeutung der Wörter. Ihre in ihrer polnischen Heimat veröffentlichten Artikel betreffen die Widerspiegelung der Wirklichkeit in der Sprache. Ihr Partner, Reisejournalist Michael Moll, veröffentlichte u.a. einen Reiseführer über Polen und publizierte Artikel in polnischen Zeitungen.
