SLR, Single Lens Reflex (W3)
Die Abkürzung "SLR" steht für "Single Lens Reflex". Damit bezeichnet man Spiegelreflexkameras - genauer: solche mit einem Objektiv. Diese Unterscheidung ist notwendig, um sie von Systemen mit 2 Objektiven zu unterscheiden (ein Objektivsystem für den Sucher und ein Objektivsystem für das Bild).
